DESCRIPTION OF CLASSES

CLASS 9:15-10:15am

Biblical Meditation

Are you moving too fast to hear the Spirit? Then you're invited to sit, rest, and be still as you listen to the word in a unique guided meditation practice called breath prayer. There's no experience needed, only a willing heart. Participants will learn a simple way to do spiritual meditation, and then be guided through a restorative and calming session.

CLASSES 3:00PM-4:00PM

Thru His Word-Deep Biblical Study

Even with supernatural instruction from Jesus, the Apostle Paul could tell the disciples in Philippi: "I want to know Christ." In other words, learning about Jesus/God is a life-long pursuit because it is part of our dynamic personal and communal relationships with our Creator. Our knowledge of God through Scripture was designed to lead us to experiential intimacy, so whether we are a new follower of Christ or one with plenty of "spiritual mileage," we can always draw nearer to God by going deeper into his Word. Join us as we explore not just the whys, but the practical hows of growing in our intimate knowledge of the Father, his Son, and his Spirit through deep Bible study using a variety of readily available resources.

As Single Women

Drawing nearer to God as single women is a class that will discuss why it is challenging regardless of whether you are a campus student, young or mature single, divorced, single parent, widowed, or going through chronic illnesses. The class will consist of sharing, group discussions, and activities that will encourage each sister to draw near to God individually. The final portion of the class will provide practicals on the power of being joyful, hopeful, and faithful in our holiness as we draw near to our Father who is always waiting to draw near to us.

In Youth

In the middle of school, friendships, family expectations, and digital distractions, it can feel hard to feel truly close to God. But He is always near—and He wants a real relationship with you. This isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being present. Whether you're strong in your faith or still figuring things out, this time is for you to reconnect, refocus, and rest in the love of a God who never leaves.

Caring For Our Body As God's Temple

The goal is that by the end of the class, participants will: 1. Understand the biblical basis for the body being God’s temple. 2. Reflect on personal habits that honor (or dishonor) God through their bodies. 3. Learn practical, age-appropriate ways to care for their physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. 4. Be encouraged to view self-care as spiritual obedience—not selfishness.

As We Age and Caregive - THE BEAUTIFUL MESS: Embracing God's Love in Midlife's Chaos

Join us for authentic conversation about finding God's grace in life's unexpected complexities after 50—from busier-than-expected retirement and caregiving responsibilities to spiritual questions we never anticipated—as we explore together how these tender, challenging seasons can become profound spiritual practices, whether you come tired, faithful, questioning, or somewhere in between.

Repentance and Forgiveness

This lesson will explore forgiveness and repentance as part of God’s renewing work in our lives. I’ll share my experience of visiting my father during his illness and the lessons God taught me through scripture, prayer, worship, and honest struggle. Together, we’ll reflect, connect, and consider how God might be renewing our hearts and relationships in practical, personal ways.

Overcoming Anxiety with Faith

Learn how to face the anxiety and worry of daily life by training your heart and mind with healthy, faith-filled practices that build lasting peace.

CLASSES 4:30PM-5:30PM

In Grief

“There is an opportunity to draw close to God in ways that are not available outside of walking your grief journey.”(Tim Sumerlin, Ph.D, The Grief Journey) Loss is a difficult and uncomfortable topic, but it doesn’t have to be. Whether your loss is recent, many years past or looming just ahead, join us for an honest dialogue with your heart. Afterall, grief is an issue of a broken heart not a broken mind. There are things to learn and unlearn about grief in order to journey well.

Looking Forward to Heaven

What does it mean to live with Heaven in view while walking faithfully on Earth? This breakout class invites women to discover how heaven transforms our perspective on work, family, and community. Together we’ll unpack what it means to strain forward in faith, walk arm-in-arm with other believers, and cultivate a life that reflects heaven’s beauty here and now—while we eagerly await the glory to come.

In Stillness and Surrender

Discover how stillness and surrender can draw you closer to God and deepen your connection with others. In this grace-filled class, you will be guided through practical mindfulness practices and the 7 key types of rest—spiritual, mental, emotional, and more. You’ll leave refreshed, renewed, and equipped with tools to create space for God’s presence and meaningful relationships in your daily life.

Thru Praise And Prayer

Praise & Prayer: Winning the War Within... As God's daughters, we can still draw close to our God in the waiting, in the wondering, and in our weakness. Sharon and Melis will lead women through a time exploring scripture that celebrates the gift of drawing nearer to God through bold and vulnerable prayer and song. Together, they hope to inspire a reclaiming of these practical ways to renew intimacy with God and faith in His power and goodness.

With Children

Motherhood is a calling from God to cultivate faith in our children. He provides all the truth and grace we need as we steadfastly draw near to Him to help capture their hearts for Christ. If you’re feeling faithless or unequipped and you’re desiring inspiration as a mom, come and hear some practicals and be reminded of God’s promises to persevere with hope in your God-given role wherever you are in your parenting journey from cradle to campus.

In The Chaos Of Life

Life's chaos can feel like an obstacle, but what if it's the very place God draws us closer? In this session, Audrey Blair invites women to explore the discomfort, transformation and surprising gifts that come with chaos. Through scripture, real-life reflections, and honest conversation, you'll discover how to see yourself the way God sees you and how to thrive-not just survive- in the storms of life,
