Welcome to Our Family Retreat "TOGETHER"
We’re so glad you’re here. Whether you’ve been looking forward to this retreat for weeks or arrived with a full mind and a busy heart, we hope this will be a time to slow down, reconnect, and make room for God and one another.
Scripture reminds us, “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10). Over these days, may we create space to listen—to God, to each other, and even to the things stirring in our own hearts. We don’t need to have everything figured out. We can come as we are, trusting that God meets us with grace.
To get the most from our time together, consider a few simple invitations:
- Be present. Give yourself permission to step away from everyday tasks and distractions where you can.
- Join in. Take part in conversations, worship, activities, and quiet moments in a way that feels comfortable for you.
- Listen with love. As we reconnect with old friends and meet new family members, James 1:19 encourages us to be “quick to listen, slow to speak.” Let’s make room for every voice, across generations.
- Offer grace. Together we’re a big family, and we won’t all think or express ourselves in the same way. Let’s be patient, kind, and curious with one another.
- Make space for God. Whether through prayer, Scripture, laughter, a walk on the beach, or a quiet moment, stay open to how God may meet you here.
- Have FUN!!
Romans 12:10 calls us to “outdo one another in showing honor.” May our time together be marked by encouragement, gratitude, honest conversation, and joy. And may we leave not only refreshed, but more deeply connected to God and to one another.
